Out for our evening bike ride last night, we stopped to see what is behind the mysterious gates marked with the Star of David.
I can't really find any information about the beautiful cemetery we found, but that it was acquired by the Jewish community in 1883 and is still in use today. The inscriptions are in French, German and Hebrew.

ReplyDeleteyes I would enjoy visiting it. The cemetery in Zurich were not old, I think they keep a grave for only 25 yrs or one generation. How old were these?
